Crystal Hopper, CTFL
Crystal Hopper is a Software Requirements Analyst at Elation, Inc. She works with internal business owners to find their needs and communicate back to the developers. She also tests new software to ensure it meets the business owners expectations. She joined Big Sky ATD as a Trainer who facilitated and created training for call center agents with an emphasis in Technical Support.

President-Elect Ann Gillham
A Montana native, Ann has recently come home to Montana after spending 20+ years in the training arena with GE Capital in Denver, CO; GE Appliances in Rapid City, SD; Sears Holdings, Inc. in Austin, TX and most recently with the home office of The Home Depot in Atlanta, GA. Ann currently serves as the Training Manager for the Billings, MT and Cheyenne, WY Charter Communications call centers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, crafts, and spending time with her extended family and friends.
Mary has been the Client Services Trainer & Quality Coach for EBMS, Inc. for the past 9 years. Her primary focus is on customer service skills and techniques not only for external customers, but also the internal customers, EBMS’ team members. She has worked closely with the Corporate Trainer, helping to provide quality training for all new team members coming into EBMS, Inc. Mary has spent countless hours structuring & developing personalized training sessions and following up with quality coaching to make sure training is successful and the outcomes notable. Mary has such a passion for excellent customer service that she teaches the leadership team to be successful coaches for the benefit of EBMS’ customers and team members.
Director of Programs Donna Pavlish
Donna has been in banking for 36 years here in Billings. She is currently an Instructional Designer for First Interstate Bank and has designed and facilitated training courses for over 2,000 employees in Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. As a certified instructor she teaches courses on Leadership and Professional Development, as well as creative thinking. Donna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, majoring in Communication at Montana State University – Billings. She has been an active Big Sky ATD Chapter member for over 20 years. Donna has served on numerous non-profit boards throughout Billings, and is currently the President of the local St. Vincent de Paul board.
Director of Communication/Marketing Aldin Barnes
Aldin is currently one of the Training professionals at Charter Communications where he has spent the last three years aiding new hires, existing employees, and leadership members enhance their product knowledge and customer service skills. Aldin is active in the community whether it is volunteering to help an organization during a crisis or helping beautify Billings. He is an avid board game fanatic and is currently completing his degree in Business.
Director of Finance Mandie Carter
Mandie holds degrees in Computer Animation/Multimedia from the University of Hawai’i – Manoa, Web Design/Interactive Media with an emphasis in Distance Education from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh-Online and is currently pursuing her Masters in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning from Boise State University. Mandie Carter began her career with the Montana Department of Corrections as a Production Manager for Montana Correctional Enterprises in February of 2011 at the License Plate Factory, Print & Sign Shop during which time the shop received the 2012 First Lady’s Award. Then in June of 2012, she transferred to the Professional Development Bureau to become one of the agency’s eLearning Design and Developers. Most of her responsibilities include the development, maintenance, administration, and technical assistance of distance and computer based learning opportunities. She is also an Instructional Design Contractor with eLearning Mind.
